Description
ANCA (Antineutrophil Cytoplasmic Antibody) is a blood test that detects antibodies targeting the cytoplasm of neutrophils (a type of white blood cell). It is used in the diagnosis and monitoring of autoimmune vasculitis diseases, such as granulomatosis with polyangiitis (GPA) and microscopic polyangiitis (MPA). The test helps identify autoimmune activity.
